Blazing Spoons Chili Cook-off

Welcome to Blazing Spoons, the Inland Northwest International Chili Cook-off. This is festive event with music, entertainment, beer, wine & family fun. Competitors with be from local restaurants, carters, and individuals. They will be competing  in three categories: Chili Solo Carne - All meat, Chili con Carne - Beans & Meat, Chili Frijoles Sin Carne - No meat.

 

 

Competitor Information

You Will Be Competing Against …
Spokane Restaurants, Caterers and Eateries from Canada & the Hinterlands

To Enter, You Must …
Register & Pay $50 (refundable) Entry Fee.
Comply with Tri-County Health Regulations (Washington Food Worker’s Card)
Set Up a Booth with Stove & Water (jug w/ spout)
Provide at Least 10 Gallons of Chili Cooked on Site or in a commercial kitchen in accordance with the Rules
Serve Chili Samples Free to All Attendees

You May …
Advertise w/ Banners, Flyers, Coupons, etc
Sell Other Food (French Fries, Chips, Soda, Hot Dogs, etc.)
Sell Souvenirs (Hats, T-Shirts, Games, etc.)
Park an RV at the Fairgrounds RV Park (Not at the Chili Booth)
Deduct Qualified Expenses as Donations to Rotary Foundation

You May Not …
Sell Alcohol to be Consumed on Site (Except Beer Garden Vendors)
Set Up a Catering Truck or Trailer (No Roach Coaches)
Run Out of Chili

You Will Receive …
Recognition, Exposure & Publicity
A Certificate Indicating your Placement in the Competition.
News Releases that You Are Competing or Have Won (1st Place -- Hon. Mention)
Appreciation of Colville Rotary Club & All the Recipients of its Good Works
